The activated carbon we use has super adsorption and cleaning ability for better and faster absorption of filth and sundries in the water, offering clean and healthy water for fishes. Our advanced 4-layer filtration technology features a blend of cotton, Activated Carbon, and cutting-edge New Filter Media Zeolite to enhance the cleanliness of your aquarium with efficient removal of impurities and debris.

The Nutshell activated carbon has developed pore structure, uniform pore distribution, and long life. The density of cotton is increased to ensure even distribution of carbon, which is good for absorbing undesirable odors, pigments, and chlorine. We advise rinsing the new filter cartridge under room-temperature water before first use to remove any dust.

Our cartridges are compatible with a range of aquarium filter systems, including Aqueon Small, Medium, and Large filter cartridges, and are designed to seamlessly align with numerous aquarium filter systems, whether they operate a freshwater or saltwater tank.
